I’m a therapist at Resilient Brain Prescott and an LMSW.

Hi, my name is Terri Stowell. My goal as a therapist is to support clients on their journey by meeting them where they are—with acceptance, understanding, and compassion. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work and am licensed by the Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. With over 35 years of experience in the field, I am dedicated to creating a culturally competent and inclusive space where individuals from all backgrounds feel safe, heard, and understood.

I strive to empower my clients by providing them with the tools and guidance they need to navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and foster meaningful, lifelong change. My experience includes working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, relationship challenges, grief, and end-of-life issues. I have had the privilege of working extensively with veterans, first responders, the elderly, teenagers, adults, children, and couples.

I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, an effective approach for processing and healing from trauma and related mental health conditions. Additionally, I incorporate various therapeutic modalities to help individuals better understand their behaviors, emotions, and motivations. With over 10 years of experience in grief therapy—both in group and individual settings—I focus not only on loss due to death but also on the grief that arises from life transitions and significant stressors.

I look forward to walking alongside you on your path to healing and well-being. If you’re ready to take the first step toward positive change, I invite you to reach out and schedule an appointment.
